Palm Music Player 2.0

This application provides a centralized platform for managing your music collection, allowing you to import from a network share, download folders directly to your device, or link with your Apple Music Library seamlessly. Users can create combined playlists that incorporate tracks from various sources.

The application features both manual and automatic playlists, a fully interactive control player, as well as compatibility with AirPlay and CarPlay. Once imported, music is readily available for offline playback.

Getting Started

For importing music from an SMB network share, please review the following instructions or view the corresponding video tutorial. Refer to your operating system's user guide for assistance in setting up the network share. Mac users can visit Apple Support and search for "set up file sharing."

1. Select the 'Library' tab.
2. Tap the '+' button in the upper left corner.
3. Choose 'Copy From Network Share Or Folder.'
4. In 'Browse' view, tap the '...' circular button.
5. Select 'Connect to Server.'
6. Input the server IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.10) corresponding to your configured network share.
7. If prompted, enter your username and credentials.
8. Connect to the server.
9. Navigate to the audio file(s) you wish to import.
10. To import a single file, tap on it.
11. To import multiple files, tap 'Select,' mark the desired files, and tap 'Open.'

To import music from a folder on your device, follow these steps or refer to the secondary video tutorial:

1. Select the 'Library' tab.
2. Tap the '+' button in the upper left corner.
3. Select 'Copy From Network Share Or Folder.'
4. In 'Browse' view, select 'On My iPhone/iPad' or any accessible folder.
5. Navigate to the audio file(s) you wish to import.
6. To import a single file, tap on it.
7. To import multiple files at once, tap 'Select,' mark the files, and tap 'Open.'

To link to music from your Apple Music Library, please follow these instructions or watch the relevant video:

1. Select the 'Library' tab.
2. Tap the '+' button in the upper left corner.
3. Select 'Link From User Music Library.'
4. Navigate to the audio file(s) you wish to link to (note that only downloaded music will be visible on your device).
